Few images in one template

Is it possible to add possibility to more then one extracted image. in {{Extracted from}} it ok to have only one option but Image extracted it is possible thet the file extraxted to few files like her, it ib better that all the files will be in the same template. Replace image

Spanish

I retract, unlike English, in Spanish the passive voice is unnatural. The text as it is written now seems to be too literal a translation of English and it does not look good in Spanish. A much better text would be:

Alignment

Is there a specific reason why the template is centered? In the file summary all fields are left-aligned and so is the complementary Template:Extracted from. Having all fields aligned to the left would make the summary look more tidy. Gun Powder Ma (talk) 09:56, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Enhancements

{{Editprotected}} I've made a couple of changes to this template:

Display images in gallery format, if more than one image;
Increase limit to 50 from current 20 parameters;

An example of the resulting layout can be seen at File:Manchester. A brief record of its past and a picture of its present (IA manchesterbriefr00cla).pdf, which currently has 28 images extracted from it.

The changes can be found at Template:Image extracted/sandbox‎, Template:Image extracted/sandbox‎/row and Template:Image extracted/sandbox‎/i18n/en. Can someone please implement them? @Capmo: Since no one else commented, I released your changes; however:

At the moment, the template still handles only the first 20 parameters. I believe it awaits for page Template:Image extracted/i18n to be "translated" to Template:Image extracted/i18n/en, the latter still handling only 20 parameters;
Once the issue with the number of parameters is settled, remember to update Template:Image extracted/doc as well.

I marked the page for translation. This updated all the translations (not just the /en page), so there’s no need to manually do that (in fact, it’s not even possible). Solution with Module:Iteration

The template has a long history, with successive expansions to more file parameters, e.g. 10, 20, 50. These problems are now solved with module support, the number of files is unlimited.

Bug in template

Current size in Template:Image extracted/row is x160px. We probably want a max width large enough that most files with a typical aspect ratio won't hit it. Just doubling the height to 320x160px sounds good to me, but I'd like to hear what others think. AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 18:04, 20 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is a problem with the Arabic version, it is not displayed. Instead, the English version is always shown.

Changing "image" to "file"
